Does anyone know if the 42a snowblower attachment fits an 1812?

Also, does anyone know if there is a two speed rear that will fit this tractor? I was going to put a small loader on it but don't know if it will handle it.

Retro fitting pwr steering would be nice too! I love this tractor!

You are asking for a lot! Yes it will fit but I can't remember what we did to do them, look for a H-42 or 48" model. They are great single stage blowers that don't add a lot of weight to the front. The loaders on garden tractors are not a good thing as they have little lift 300lbs tops and remove to much weight from the rear and are nearly helpless on anything but a near perfect surface. ....

A friend has a 129 and claims he can lift 500 lbs. A loader would be fun. Is there an advantage to a two speed rear like a Wheelhorse D series or Case 446 or 448? ....
